NCCER Core–Introductory Craft Skills is a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculum. Its modules cover topics such as Basic Safety, Introduction to Construction Math, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Construction Drawings, Basic Communication, Employability Skills, and Material Handling. Successful completion of this curriculum gives the trainee the basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area he or she chooses.

Tuition: $1,098 Full Price; $366 FastForward WCG Price
Potential Certification: Upon successful completion of the program, students will earn the National Center for Construction Education & Research's Core-Introductory Craft Skills certification.
Supplies and Fees: Tuition includes cost of textbook, supplies, NCCER's Core-Introductory Craft Skills exam registration fee, as well as a $50 credential attainment incentive.
