Students learn to perform both administrative and patient clinical procedures in a variety of medical settings. Program includes CPR training.

Tasks performed could include:
  • Interviewing patients
  • Measuring and recording vital signs
  • Preparing exam rooms
  • Cleaning and sterilizing medical equipment
  • Assisting providers with exams and procedures
  • Administering injections, topical and oral medications
  • Performing venipuncture and point-of-care testing
Curriculum Requirements: High School Diploma or GED

Potential Certifications: Students who successfully complete the program will earn CPR certification and will be eligible to take the National Healthcareer Association's Certified Clinical Medical Assistant exam.

Supplies and Fees: Tuition includes cost of required textbook, workbook, supplies, CPR certification, exam study guide and practice tests, and exam voucher.
