This program builds upon the basics of plumbing introduced in Level 1 with coverage of more advanced skills and knowledge. It covers concepts technicians need to safety install, test, maintain, and repair many different types of pipe systems for residential, commercial, and public buildings. Coverage of math, drawings, code, and other critical knowledge skills ensure learners are set up for job success.
 
Its modules cover topics such as:
  • Plumbing Math Two
  • Structural Penetrations, Insulation, and Firestopping
  • Installing and Testing DWV Piping
  • Installing Roof, Floor, and Area Drains
  • Installing and Testing Water Supply Piping
  • Types of Valves
  • Installing Fixtures and Valves
  • Installing Water Heaters
  • Basic Electricity
  • Fuel Gas and Fuel Oil Systems
Length: 175 Course Hours (124 in-person / 51 online)

Curriculum Requirement:  NCCER's Core and Plumbing Level 1 certifications
 
Potential Certifications: Upon successful completion of all modules in the curriculum, students will receive the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Plumbing Level Two certification.
