NCCER Core is designed as a rigorous, competency-based, industry-recognized program for career and technical education. The knowledge and skills established in Core are the foundation that successful construction careers are built on. Upon successful completion of the Core curriculum, students can pursue an advanced training program in a specialty area like carpentry, heavy equipment operations, HVAC, plumbing, or power line worker.

- Introduction to Construction Math
- Hand Tools
- Power Tools
- Construction Drawings
- Basic Communication
- Employability Skills
- Material Handling
Length: 74 Course Hours (42 in-person hours / 32 self-paced online hours)
Potential Certification: Upon successful completion of all modules in the curriculum, students will receive the National Center for Construction Education & Research Core: Introduction to Basic Construction Skills certification.
