This program covers the fundamental aspects of power line worker to include safety, electrical theory, climbing techniques, aerial framing and rigging, and operating utility service equipment.

Curriculum Requirement: Power Industry Fundamentals Certification

Power Line Worker Training Components:
Potential Certifications: Upon successful completion of this program, students will earn the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) Power Line Worker certification.

Occupational Objective: This one-level Power Line Worker curriculum is the foundational level for three different training pathways: Power Line Worker: Distribution, Power Line Worker: Substation, and Power Line Worker: Transmission.
