Level 1 focuses on basic carpentry skills, including orientation to the trade, building materials, hand and power tools, and introduction to construction drawings and specifications.

Prerequisite: NCCER's Core certification.
Potential Certification: Students who successfully complete all modules in the curriculum will receive the National Center for Construction Education & Research Carpentry Level One certification.
